Talking about improvements to our cars, would like to ask bros here if anyone has installed voltage stabilizers and/or grounding to their cars? My previous jap cars had those installed with noticeable improvements. Wondering if these would benefit our German rides or will installing these have any adverse effects?

Appreciate all thoughts and advice rendered.

Hi Cerano, agree with u on that. But was amazed at the diff when my friend installed volt stab and grounding on his 2yr Toyota rush. Smoother and more powerful. But was wondering If it would give our cars that much difference.. *Scratch head*

Any guys changed their suspension on the W203? I find it getting kind of abit too soft for my liking...Prefer something stiffer, but not like coilover....any recommendation?

my experience is whenever i drive abit faster at corner, it's like floating balloon going around the bend....have to go real slow to prevent body from rolling....

yo bro, what shock did u change? is it stiff?

I changed to bilstein. Not those performance type just ordinary type. The original ones are by sach. The old ones were worn out - exactly as you described. Floaty when cornering. Now much better, but front looks jacked up. Feel free to meet up for a test drive before u decide to change. My originals were kaput. Took them out and the shocks just sunk in. Viagra also can't help already. Ha ha.

Am repairing my roof this weekend and the workmen will still be around on sunday. Will try to come catch up, but my car is nothing compared to what I saw from last session. Looking foward to see 2 x Maclaren SIlver W203!

the link you provided is full chrome but also 4 fin.

Anyway, my experience is with 55tech, so your mileage may differ if from another dealer. Anyway, the grill look very similar to mine...and it uses OEM star as well...so I guess the mold used should be the same.
