How to improve SQ on Audio 20?

Wow...really? Where is the active sub located? Size? There is already a series of air pockets opening for sub at the boot area. I guess it should be mounted there.

i think for cheap scale upgrade... add a ms-8 will do... the current c180 7gt, comes with active sub..

Aiyoh, why my installer still ask me to put in the sub-woofer when there is one already? Must go ask him next time. But there is a marked difference in the base tone after the additional sub was installed, so can't complaint too much about it. Added the ms-8 already but still found something missing. Wanted to follow unker's advice posted earlier to install the rockford amp and speakers but was quoted $2k plus. So thinking about other alternatives.

For those added the JBL MS-8 what is your configuration like? 

 

I thinking to just run the MS-8 to the stock speaker. How the improvement will be? the MS-8 rated only at 20W per channel.. which is quite low..

 

My current system is using 200W per channel.. but giving up the idea into hardcore setup liao..

Just did mine by Ah Boon. Very good, neat workmanship. Replace the front speaker to component and running 3 way active all driving by MS8. Front Lo using stock speaker at the original rear door location.

Stock look and much decent sound.

Better and clearer compare to stock. But still not audiophile standard with the minimum upgrade. Just with Time Alignment the staging can be position at driver side.

Yes need to install the LCD screen. Mine is hide in the ash tray compartment. Neat and stock look. No one know the screen is there.
