Just back from inspection

Just got back from inspection at STA Boon Lay. The inspector damn on the ball, take torch light, check under steering wheel, above pedals. Flip up all my carpets front and back. Checking for any hidden switches and stuff. Open bonnet look here look there. Check the solar film front, back and windscreen. In case you guys are wondering, this is my mum's car and I help her go inspection. Her's is stock to bone except her rims swap with my originals. Like that still so on the ball.....

Ok now the main point. After the inspection I kaypo go ask the inspector about the twin exhaust mod whether can pass inspection or not.....

Ans: NO.

Reason: Muffler and the 2 exhaust outlet are considered 'one unit'. To pull one of the tip to the other side to create double exhaust will be deemed as 'two units' and thus will not pass inspection. I reasoned that anything after muffler should be allowed, and even showed him that W204's exhaust comes with 2 tips original. Inspector just shakes head, and advised that if I want the look then only dummy ones can pass inspection.

coilovers, steering wheel and bbk all ok, booster not too sure.

The inspector must be siao on la, I first customer reach at 8am, no cars behind somemore so he just check everything.

I have no problem with sprint booster on previous ride. Kanna Illegal LED running light (forgot to sw off during insepection) and tinted tail lamps but luckily that inspector still gave conditional pass!

I think all depends on the inspector. Just act a little blur and never argue with them might helps haha...

Was looking very closely at the new twin powered z4 with a good buddy of mine and waited for 45 mins at pml but nobody wanted to talk to us! I even signal a few SE and give them a "ooi I need help look" but still no use.

Fed up, we went over to cnc and I got a coupe and he got a SLK.

Think my next ride will be with a PI liao.

No need to worry lah, worst case just go back pay $ dismantle and install back after inspection.

However if between the 328i or c250 coupe, it will be a much tough decision making process.

Actually if u let me choose all over again, it will still be the c coupe over the z4. It's an easy choice.

However if between the 328i or c250 coupe, it will be a much tough decision making process.

Truth be told, the way C&C priced their C coupes, it's a no brainer actually.

For the same price, u can't even get the old E92 325!
