Juggling Wipers for my 6 mths old ride

Recommended Posts

1st real problem on my C180K -

Juggling wipers when I use them yesterday.

Sian.

Hope when i go to C&C, they will change new one for me and not make me pay for it

This juddering wiper has been talked a lot but I guess it will still come. I have been applying rain repellent since day one of my car and the wipers have been behaving.

Using rain repellent makes the windscreen clearer without any oil stain from exhaust. It comes in handy when driving in a thunderstorm, I can see while others are finding it difficult.

I realised the trick to prevent juddering is apply and wipe in the direction of the wiper movement.

hi guys it could be due to the car wax and polish. it will affect the wiper if u use the same clothes to clean your car and at the same time clean your windscreen. get a glass polish cream fr autobacs (~$12) and should do the magic. cheers allen

i too lazy to do all that.

i was told the juddering of wiper is due to another factor. C&C say the car's original wiper r from europe, so they r suitable in europe not for asia. when clients complaint of juddering, C&C change to asian-based wiper. the problem should be gone.

no harm trying it out both ways. if the wax is still on the windscreen, u will have same problem after changing the wipers.

My word lazy means I m too lazy to apply wax on car and clean the car.

But I will heed your advice and buy one such bottle and clean my windshield this weeked

Because I plan to bring my car to C&C to do the servicing A and settle all the others problems during one trip only.

Mileage is 12k so still got sometime to visit C&C

Autobras here I come

Had both wipers and windscreen replaced (cracked, not changed due to judder.......haha)

Doesn't help. Judder straight away.

Car shampoo also contributes to juddering. The wash n wax type r the worst for me.

Try switching to another brand to see if it helps.

Is autobacs la. U know iPhone got the auto spell correction one

Haha, iphone like Bras also...

I hate this auto spelling by this iphone... yesterday received an adv on some tuition thinggy and at the end it says 'to unsubscribe, reply UN'.

so i keyed 'un' and send... then i saw 'in'. Thought maybe typo error.. so type 'un' again and send... "IN" again!!! And finally i realised it was the auto correction that is playing the trick and retype <UN backspace N> then send....

Take me 3 attempt to unsubscribe this stupid adv with 2 LETTERS!!:angry:

i remember seeing some old threads from the old forum someone suggesting using old newspaper to wipe the windscreen.... the older the better.

Any old timer can recalled this thread?

I did recommrnd newspaper for cleaning the windscreen but did not recalled got to be super back dated publication.

the more laa sap the newspaper the better, so all the wanbao and TNP would be perfect.

Arshavin, try C&C windscreen cleaner. It comes with a cleaner plus a glass wax. It works very well. Also if the problem still persist, you can try Soft99 - z compound. get it from NTUC slightly cheaper than autobacs.

Thank for the advice. Will ask my SE when I go there for my servicing.
