Huh camp simi u guys? How much u guys prepare to pay for a 6/4 pot? Anything less than $6000 for AMG or Brembo is hard to come by. In the past a set of these brand & setup cost $10,000. I thought ken333 already offering around $5k plus for Brembo set, no takers arh? Hatch lobang also not bad leh!! So whats stopping you guys?

If want cheaper just get the front 4 pots will do which i did coz i m cheapo :). Damage is like less than $3600.

Anything else we can do to help u to push that button?

Btw these mods will void warranty!! Mods at yr own risk!!

My advise is : Three alphabets "M T L"

Lai lai share yr concerns here.

...getting better and bigger brakes also void warranty? i unnerstand if void insurance, but how c&c can argue it's detrimental to the car?

for me, i will spend on rims and tyres. you ask me to spend equivalent for brakes i a bit hmmmmm. all about priorities for me. no doubt, BBK calipers will look great for my wheels lah.

For that price, kinda hard to get my CFO to approve the mod.

Yea I need to moonlight to pay for the BBK, any lobang bo? :D

Aside, as I'm not the fast and furious type of driver, so trying to justify getting BBK for the looks alone. No doubt ken3332's brembos are really sweet

Agree, it's quite a steep price to pay just for the looks.

Trick question lah, bro. Everyone wants the real thing (10k is whAt you told me at the GTG) but don't want to pay for it. The lower the pricing, the further it is from the real deal.

No worries.

For me, i upgrade brakes for all my rides. Safety is a priority for me.

I'm no racer, but as the saying goes: Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Din take up the AMG 6potters cos i'm reluctant to go 19".

These API are just bang for buck

After being on them for 2weeks, heres my review:

Pros

1. Cheap, bang for buck

2. Extremely progressive. Easy to modulate, very Alcon like.

3. Replacables easily available.

4. No squeal after bedding in.

5. The cross drill design is casted, not drilled AFTER casting

6. Fits most 18" with lots of clearance

7. Able to retain my stock splash plates

8. Lighter than stock

Cons

1. Only avail in 3 colors, red/black/blue (Prefer silver to match rear, anything else is $300 extra)

2. Wished e rotor for 4potters avail in 345mm

Hi bro, do you mean the stock brand new brake are less effective / safe?

Trying to see if I should mod :P

I will not say stock is unsafe. Really depends on your driving style. Lets just say stock brakes doesn't suit my driving style.

Stock certainly not as effective as a 4potter with a larger disc.

Braking distance certainly shorter with more effective brakes.

Believe that for 2pc rotors. If it is, price hasn't change much.

If i remember correctly, 6pot AMG with 2pc rotors is around 6k just for the front.

The 6/4 thats now going for 5-6k as a set will be the single pc rotor.

Its much much heavier than stock.

So u guys need to be clear about what u r paying for.

Totally agree.

5k for a set of OE Brembos front and back is a good deal.

If i dun mind upgrading to 19" and the heavy single pc rotor, i confirm get it.

Lucky after upgrading to my brakes than I knew of such a thing called 2 piece rotor (phew save me some money). After upgrading to 18'' with bbk's car has already lost about 50km in FC. Hope after tuning by MT can get better FC
