Coilover

I was using AMG sports package suspension before switching to Bilstein B12 pro kit. It's basically a combo of Eilbach pro kit springs with B8 shocks. I find this set up about 30% harder than the original AMG kit. If you were to use the AMG springs with B8, they will be too soft for the shocks...making them 'busy' in damping the springs. You won't get the best out of the awesome B8s.

My 2 cents....get the B12. You won't regret it....awesome ride feel & performance with sporty (not aggressive) looks.

Thanks jtang.

I read somewhere that AMG sports package's spring is about the same as Eibach pro kit spring hence this question.  I find the E coupe AMG sports package a bit on the soft side but don't want to go coilover route as it will disrupt the comfort of this car.

+1 .. just got poison today .. can't feel any harshness(maybe used to coilover on my other car) yet during cornering feel so much more firmer ... no sinking feeling ..

definitely a good set of suspension ...
