Dear Guys,

I find that the FC info on the DIS (Driver Information System) is "consistently out by 0.4L/100km to 0.5L/100km.

FC is actually more than what it's shown.

IMHO your driving habits have more influence on your FC.

My real life experience (measured from actual fuel pumped vs distance travelled)

W203 C180ML - 50,000 km - average 8L/100km or abt 12.5km/L (1.8L M271 SC engine - 143 bhp 1.475 Ton kerb weight)

W211 E200K - 20,000 km - average 9.5L/100km or abt 10.5km/L (1.8L M271 SC engine 184 bhp 1.57 Ton kerb weight)

W212 E250CGI - 18,000 km - average 10.2L/100km or abt 9.8km/L (1.8L M271 TC engine 204 bhp and 1.55 Ton kerb weight)

W164 ML300 - 15,000 km - average 13.3L/100km or 7.5km/L (3.0L M272 NA engine 231 bhp and 2.185 Ton kerb weight)

Broquet Top Fueller 70 - better fuel saving/power

Got my C180 coupe about a month already. Top up every half tank mark at about 280 mileage clocked. Haven't tried empty tank yet (red light appear).

from what i know is the FL C180 1600cc has either the Kompressor (previous) or the 7G-Tronic (latest)..is there a very large difference in FC?
