Safest is stock. Bone stock. If mod don't scared. If scared then wait three years.

BM PH trading should be able to do it for you.

Faulty or normal LED Internal lights do not create error msg on your unstrument cluster.

Small screwdriver at the side and it'll come loose then carefully pull it out the roof lining. Then to replace just hook the metal bits on the side above the lining < you'll see what I mean when you try it.

But I think damn troublesome. Get BM do better. And get poison more.

so had the opportunity to go states.

so got my hands on LEDs for my Coupe at a bargain.

Came back and DIY Halogen to LED.

All was pretty straightforward till disaster.

I broke my left front dome light covers.

 

So my conclusion...maybe its more worth getting experts like BM to change it for you.

I think my DIY gonna cost me a lot more!

Seems i might need to buy the whole control unit. FML!

anyone broke their right side? Wanna share? hahaha

I've no problem with my cabin led lights in my current & previous MB.

They are not Canbus and they do not flicker.

I gotten them over eBay shipped from China/HK.

currently w203. I had just tried changing the internal cabin lights with normal smds. In the end ordered a no. of canbus on ebay. For afew bucks a pair, worth a shot at DIY. Will update!

IIRC W203 internal cabin led need canbus leds.

When I had my W203 there were no canbus led for number plate but I got around it with ceramic capacitor.

The car has been sold to my bro 5 years ago and everything is still intact

You can actually DIY, not that difficult. China LED is pretty cheap but I went for the Japanese LED which cost $27/pcs.
