Guys, thinking of upgrading my rims. A bro intro BC forged rim to me but I am thinking of amg rim. Another bro of mine told me dont bother with taiwan rim. It will be great if you can share your view with me.

There is the brand cache when you go with the made in Germany AMGs. The BCs will give you a lot of weight savings, taking a chunk of unsprung weight. The BCs also have more designs for you to choose from.

Thanks for the advise so far. Happyyoungwoman is most probably right about the brand issue. Wasnt sure whether to put a taiwan made on the car. I've spoken to ah yang from top93. offer a good price for a set of 19inch with super sport tyre.

I have thought about BBS rim. They are having some promotion atm but dont think I will go for 19inch. It look really nice but performance and comfort will suffer and costly to replace tyre as well. Will drop by BBS tmw since I am going over to pandan loop.

The Japanese ones I can't find here. Have to have lobangs to bring them in? But they actually look more at home on a Beemer (and a NA MX5 Miata). Sour grapes...rationalisation.

You are funny happy, got $$$ can bring anything legal in. Last heard a friend driving a jap ride brought in a 18" forged rim for about $1-1.2k per rim. Ouch. Ship about 2-3 months but a lot cheaper. Air freight add 20-30%. Ask around. Sure have lah. Ur "usual" shops. Lol
