actually, if cannot get then we just offline it lah, odessus. drive slk go balestier park roadside eat lew lian at a shop next to a temple is worth a photo.

It's ok for me. I live in a small HDB flat and not born rich. Lived through times in my adult life where I had hardly enough money for lunch. Hahaha... Temple and roadside suits me just fine. Got nice durian can liao!!!

Re: Durian Day Tour to Kampong Sri Menanti, Pontian, Johore - 23rd June 2012

$38 per pax. $30 per child age 5 to 12 years.

This is stictly a durian thing. We are going there to eat durian and buy some back.

We meet at 6am. And we'll be back into Singapore just about lunch time.

This year, we are going to a new place.

Price

Kampong Sri Menanti (on the outskirt of Pontian) is very near to Singapore.

This is a very easy trip to do. So it is only $38 per pax for all that you can eat at the farm.

Children is $30 per child (5 to 12yrs).

Children below 5 is FOC.

Payment is collected on the morning of departure.

Takeaway is paid based on type of durian and weight.

Farmer Lim Ayu has yet to tell me the price for the different types of durian. When I get it, I'll let you know again.

This is a very small place. So we can only take 15 cars. If we squeeze, maybe 20 cars at most.

Preference will be given to cars with full load followed by - "First Come First Served" basis.

Traditionally, durian trips always sell well.

So don't wait!

This is the itinerary.

We meet at 6am at the Jurong Bird Park.

From there, it is a short drive to Taman Perling for breakfast.

If I were you, I will skip breakfast and eat more durian - at least $38 worth of durian.

Whatever you eat at the farm is free.

I don't have any pictures yet. I'll send the pictures once I get them.
