Hi guys,

I was just wondering, i used to drive a civic type r.. And almost every 2 or 3 days without fail, I will be jio by all sorts of cars... From Bo Liao fake M3 to 320 to 325 to Audi A4, to EVO to GTI to soup up Altis and the most irritating VW 1.4 cars like Rocco or touran...

Hell I was even stop by TP for no reason, when I ask the Ocifer wats my offense, they just replied " nothing routine spot check, you can go Liao" I was like wtf?

But never have I been tailgate or challenge by a Merc!! The drivers are always graceful, non speeding and always gracious to give way...

I check with friends and they too said BMW driven by Wu lui ah beng... Audi driven by classy ah beng... So wat are merc drivers? Lao beng?? Haha

Now wen I'm driving one myself, the funny part is I'm no longer being jio... Cars jus overtake me... No tailgating no high beaming... I just think its strange...

Um if you guys hang out after work near Marina Boulevard, there are wanker banker types who drag their rides. Plenty Cs, SLKs and SLs do battle with Masers, Bummers and the odd Lamborghini. Fun when you're bored. Not so fun when the LTA enciks are patrolling...

same here. i get "jio-ed" even in the audi or bmw.. but merc totally don't have man. i think the old school of thought is still very prevalent. merc = old man driving.

Strange right..haha... Maybe they really think we are old man...

Previously, when driving Golf, 320s, 520s with M badge always like to poke my backside or hog me when I try to overtake on the NSHW. Even when you let them go, they still want to disturb you. Should see the look on their shocked faces when I drive past them (priceless).....

Now, LL stick to the left lane and let them pass.... :lol:

Not replicas. But they are Honda civics mod to become Bimmers.

never tj but my fiancee did her jap laugh covering mouth thing whenever any car horned me~ especially hatchbacks playing hide&seek behind me which i cant even see~ :ph34r:

Wow you must be one of the last few S420 W140 remaining on the road! Elegant car, something I've always wanted to have the pleasure of owning and doing up. :P

Ahh, thanks~ me too, enjoying & learning this rare breed with hunting parts challenges globally~ :D heard that there are less than 30 140s surviving here in sg now~ :ph34r:
