How to off the car honk when lock/unlocking car?

As per my title, how do I off the irritating honk as it sometime give people a shock when I lock the car.

You can toggle it (amongst other things) in the system. Fire your SE - he/she should've gone through the car's features before handing over the keys.

If you need, I can take screenshots later when I get to the carpark.

You should screw ur SE for not going through the car system with you when handing over the car! Mine was disabled the moment the SE told me about this function

Adjust from the menu accessible by buttons on steering wheel.

Btw, I only have sound when locking the car (1 horn), no sound when unlocking. Same?

Mine currently is 1 honk for unlock and 3 honk for lock.

By the way this feature serve me well...as I often walk away first before I will press the lock function. With this single honk sound i feel safe to walk way.....Dearest is fully secured.....

I disabled this sound on the day I took the car. Reminds me of a Toyota Altis with this honking, which irritates the hell out of me.

The car only comes standard with immobilizer. The Anti-Theft Protection Package is a $1500 option.

When I took my car, the SE told me this is not like a Japanese car, no alarm so won't go off at night. I was thinking, I paid so much more, even alarm want to save cost
