Congrats on your new wheels...originals is the way to go:)

I am not endorsing originals hor, just saying that if price difference is not big might as well take originals.

Whats your problem?

What's your problem? Jtang is giving info that concern safety issue, you as a moderator should set a good example, not YAWN! At the end, it is all about sharing, so that everyone here benefit from it. I maybe new in here, but this is the first time I see in a car forum with such moderator.

Ok folks, this is way OT already. Anyway I find this argument really going nowhere. Replicas are not cheap today in anyway, the 19' ones I was looking at was almost the same price as the original AMGs!

Anyway, I collected the car today and straight away headed to Leong Seng to have the rims changed.

Stock rims offset very 'safe' and honestly can't really make it

After careful consideration, decided to go for 18' instead (listened to Unker's advice, if want comfort, stop at 18')

I suppose at the same price point, people obviously will choose originals over replicas, replicas today are very well made and some of them do command a premium! :becky:

Very nice!

Orh u mean as a moderator shouldnt yawn in a public forum? Me bad, i try not to do that again.

As for sharing i had had quite a fair bit here. Since u are newbie u might not aware of it, so do a search in the forum.

Looks like the cow is not coming home sooner, if u & jtang had more views abt me starts a new thread. We take it from there not this thread.

my 1st ride, i experimented with replicas and originals... both rims still broke after some hard driving!

nothing wrong if nobody's right!
