No intention to lower with coliovers since my last two cars were on them. Comfort is paramount to me this round. Having said that, shld I lup 19' rims or just stick to 18'? Anyone here on 19' rims on a c coupe yet? :becky:

IMHO - for comfort stay at 18" max!

Even in your owner manual there's no size for 19" - max 18"

19" for C63AMG yes!

Strange!! Coz CLC stock is 16" if i can remember correctly. Why would they state 18"?? Hmm when is the inspection? Do keep us updated on this one.

Guest george

There are a couple of my friends, uses replica, the rims broke into pieces while driving.....do you know how dangerous is that? Anyway, I feel that there are a few things that we cannot save, they are:

1) Tyres

(Buy the best one that you can afford, cos they are the ones that is hold your car to the ground, if it is lousy, you crash your car, you end up paying more)

2) Rims

(Same logic as above)

3) Brakes

You can speed, but can you really stop fast.

These are some basic stuff that I will go for first....then later on the handling and so on......

I remember reading somewhere in this forum, why stain the german made car with replicas? You have already spend so much to buy this ride, enjoy it.
