the road noise, can it be significantly reduced by changing to quieter tires? during my test drive of the B, i find the cruising on the highway louder than my 2010 VW Polo ... kinda strange

Test drive model tyres very noisy but when i got my ride (W246) the tire is pretty quiet.

It's an excellent drive except for the initial lag when car is idle. 

 

Not as noisy as some would think,very smooth ride and great experience with it. 

 

Drive it to KL once every month. Been driving almost a year now. Love the power on the highway. 

 

Full tank when lights are on is about 40 litres or so.

Driving in the city I get bout 480kms

 

Driving to KL I get bout 650kms

 

You wont regret if B-class is an option you would like to take on.

I booked mine in mid-May, not sure whether can get by late August. Most likely to be same shipment as yours.  Do you know whether is there SD card for the Audio set.

  My shipment only arrives in Aug, so Sep is the more likely handover date. You probably got the shipment before mine, as I am told there is only 3 cars per shipment, and I had the choice of which 3 cars I wanted for the Aug shipment.

 

  I think the SD slot is standard on both the Chrome and Sports version. I went for the Sports, so I should have most of the features installed, including GPS and rear view with guidelines. I did not go for the sunroof. Anyway, a lof of these features are extras and really does not make a huge difference to me.

 

  Have you been informed if your shipment has ariived?

  Maybe we are in the same shipment then. I test drove the Chrome but no Chrome for the Aug shipment left! So was either the Sports in Aug shipment or wait some more.

 

  I am expecting my ride to be rougher, as the Springs are stiffer and lowered by 15mm. Upside is it is probably more stable, with the 225 tyres.

 

  Anyway, it not going to be *that* different between the 2 versions.

I went back to the online manual to take a look, and you are correct. The SD card slot is only with the Comand Online package, which is an option. I'll have to wait till I get my car before I know mine has. Did you go for the Chrome or Sports version?

I order the chrome version, My car colour is white, inside black with sunroof.. the package include back camera, gps and other etc. Ohya comand online is what thing btw??
