A-class 180, options?

IIRC, when I test drove the A180 beginning of this month, it was already with colored instrument cluster screen, and also confirmed with SE that my car will be having it.

Should be other aesthetic changes along with regrouping of engine types for the new FL?

Bottomline is good things are hard to come by like COE Cat B is low and when they do, people grab it so quickly! 

 

Yes, Cat B now is low compared to Cat A

Expect many have same view & chiong Cat B

However, Low Cat B now does not mean anything if Total Car Price is not adjusted & does not guaranteed successful COE bid in the next 3 months

Anyways, best time to buy is whenever its within budget

Want to know whether it's possible to install those hooks, which can let my kids hang their small bags/water bottles when we go out on weekends.

Should've taken some photos when I went down to pass my cheque for the deposit a couple of weeks ago

The back middle seat have cup holders that can fold down.

If u referring to those sports seats then likely can't use those standard hooks.

Maybe another way is to get those elastic hooks like those taxi uncle use to secure the boot when cargo full?

Are the front seats for the A180 style sports style?

I vaguely remembered that my SE told me it's those bucket seat type, like my Copen's bucket seats.

If that's the case, then I can't reuse the hooks from my wife's car, and need to think of alternatives for my kids to hang their stuff.

Went there last week, but all need to have the removable headrest part to anchor the hook onto 1 of the rods.

You may consider using a velcro strap to wrap thru headrest hole afterwhich you can still use the hooks to hang on strap for the kid's waterbottle & stuff!

Yes bro, the hook & velcro strap should be like this! However, if can't find the exact thing, you can always buy the velcro strap & hook separately! Velcro strap can be found at most DIY shops & any hook type will do the job

unfortunately, no. with the recent collapse of CAT B COE, i decided to "upgrade" from A180 to A200 instead. but i was told no more stock for current models.

Germany factory stop taking orders ... which makes sense

cos like my earlier posts, Germany & Major European countries are set to take delivery of the new facelift of A_Klasse in Sept

 

so i will wait lor

hopefully, by Oct-Nov, local dealers  can start taking pre-orders but i strongly doubt .... they need to clear Europe orders before Asia ... 

one way to see when the new facelift will hit us

u go to the Benz website.... Asia countries / middle east & UK still showing current A class pics ... (not the facelift)

 

so any Bros here got info , when their SA tell them about the new pre-orders for new facelift - please share ...

then i will go find a Benz SA

Since your waiting, make sure to stay future proof by getting a full spec model. Adaptive suspension, ils etc etc. no point waiting and then let cnc retain previous fl specs

what do u mean? ie when the order book for the new facelift A_class, you order the "extra goodies":? ie LED lights, anti-collision, etc?

so wont have extra waiting time?

 

personally, i will like to consider the LED lights n Anti-collision...

but not sure how much damage min 2-3K more

unless they drop to 140K within the next 3-4 months
