Low gear sluggish, may be that's the reason I guess.

Turning on ECO mode may not be a good idea, singapore traffic too many stop and go, too many ECO start/stop rather frustrating.

Not really, the 7gtronic is nice to drive even in city traffic.

mine is a kompressor.. for two weeks i was working from home, only driving out to fetch my kids and groceries at short distances, the fc was like 7++ to 8km/liter. 

 

this is vastly different from the time i travel to work via smooth expressway traffic.. around 11km/liter
