The biggest calibre I fired and taught others was the 106mm recoiless gun with a 0.5 spoting rifle. The 0.5 recoil is enough to shake the jeep while the 106 shakes the earth. Surprising, the firer doesn't feel any recoil or shock from the firing. I must say that's the best seat to be when the gun goes off. Standing beside the gun always made me hold my breath in anticipation of the loud bang.

Was a perm staff in Taiwan for a year.... got e chance to fire a FH2000 155 howitzer..... 1 pull is approx $500... still have a pic of 18 guns firing together. .. and the rounds just out of barrel... taken by some high speed camera a pro brought along for pioneer magazine..donkey yrs ago...
