Roll back on slope

Noticed today while exiting the carpark my ride roll backward on the slope. In the past I don't have to step on the brake the car stay still on a up slope. Is that an indication I need to replace the brake pads? Any bro could just me some advice? Thanks in advance

Hmm. I remember Mercedes Benz cars has the function that stop the car from rolling back on the slope. I forget the official name

It's a function that holds the car for approximately one sec, hence giving the driver more reaction time.

I tried it a few times I stepped on the brake and let go the car roll backward. After 3 tries I gave up. In the past it could stay still. Last services a month ago they told me my brakes is still left with 50%.

Well the new mercs have this function where u need to depress the brakes in a light swift kick and the HOLD sign comes on. This will prevent the the car from rolling back at very steep slopes...I have that in my b200 (w246). I guess if it roll back with the HOLD sign on, then u might be right about worn out brakes....

go read ur manual.... it  says on nt so steep slope.
