Lolz is not an option. One day all makes will hv this function. Mine came with it, didnt opt for it all.

Alan i have check with my SE on permanently off it & on the other thread Leftfield is asking whether can switch on S mode for good when start the engine is not possible. However, my buddy told me Audi is facing the same issues but outside workshop with diagnostic tools can mods it.

So our only hope is Camber bro :)

Also this ECO thingy till date, the fuel saving is not significance at all. After 2 rounds of FC monitoring, Is 8.5 to 9 km / litrea. I thought with this ECO thingy i can get 10 km or more but is not. By the 3 top up if is not significance will off it for good. Next monitoring will be on S mode for 3 top up then after will install my JB box modular :).

For yr infro my previous CLC is on S mode the FC is no diffs from E at all.

  • 2 months later...

i don't think that you can turn the default start/stop-mode to be off when you start the car. tried doing so on my Audi A7, and a error message kept popping up. super annoying, so i went back to switch it back.

on a side note, start/stop-mode wouldn't kick in if your seat belt is not buckled. so if your seatbelt chime is turned off, and your seatbelt is not buckled, then start-stop mode wouldn't activate.
