welcome all new bros here..this community is certainly growing at a healthy rate.

I just hope to receive news from my SE by the end of the month that my car has arrived. Then I would know that it is 2 more weeks from then to delivery. It would be the best news for me, no need to renew my road tax, only need to tahan 2 weeks without car. But I just hope only....hope it happen according to plan.

I bet you added some options to your car? I only added a panoramic sunroof and yes it's also Jan production. When I was down a couple of time last week to the Alex showroom, I saw trucks offloading various merc models - delivery is coming in phases.

Nope, like I said I only added the sunroof. Nothing else. Your SE explained to you that adding all the options you listed would add on your waiting time, right? Yours would probably be a couple of weeks away. When the car gets to SG, it takes another two weeks for them to do the paperwork, the prepping of the car etc, so you have to keep at in mind.

Nah.. My SE never told me about addin the options would add on to the waiting time.. He only say will deliver before april. But now, the system still show no records about my car.

as far as i know, how see&see works is like that. every batch comes in are of different specs. some with AMG but no para roof or vice versa. the one i book which is coming in april has para roof but no amg. if i wanted amg, they will have to order from benz because those coming in either have item 1 but not 2. so if you order both and whatever is going to come in doesnt tally with your options, it is considered as customized and will take up to 6 months.

with that, whatever they quoted you for your existing car is just budgetary. once your car is here, the exact trade in value of your car will then be calculated again. in addition, the car that they sell to you is base on car value but not COE. i suggest you check with your SE again.

exactly. my SE explained that to add on more options is fine, just have to stomach a *****6mth***** wait. If you want it quick (like we did), they will check ex-stock and incoming stock and then SE and buyer need to work out what comes closest. If you can accept the color/option of those that they already have ordered, then you can get your car quicker.

But i dont want to pay extra for just the paint, so i ask my se if i can order that but change the paint and add in amg kit, he told me no problem as the car still not yet in production. And the price i paid for is already included coe and he already got my coe bidded in early jan.

At least your se allow you to add option. I made booking same as you in early dec and wanted to add amg, keyless and command. but my se say cannot add cos will delay the delivery. So I LL have to choose whatever they have on hand. BUT till now I have not collected the car!!

2 more weeks and it's gonna be 4 months wait liao!!

Must prepare $$$ for CnC before they can proceed with registration.

But sianz cos I just renewed road tax!

CnC should have a better system to monitor the arrival of the cars.

Actually I got the COE on the day I booked the ride on 22 Feb. It's the C180K I booked, so it is the CAT A COE.
