JFYI

Small task : To replace my rear brake pads which were wearing out.

Option 1) Workshop quoted me $210 rear brake pads *2 (include labor) + $50 sensors * 2 (not true - there is only 1pc!). Total $260/=

Option 2) To buy parts from Gallop Auto, rear brake pads (FEBI) @ $30 + Sensors (only 1pc is needed!) @ $4.50. The get it replaced at SIM Motor @ $40 labour. Total $76/=

Per option 1, beside pricing themselves out, i do not condone to their etiquette in deceiving customer to make more $... haiz

U brought the rear brake pad a pair only for $30? Did you check the front brake pad too? SIM motor didnt charge u for the brake oil?? Option 1 is which workshop that quoted u?

Yes, Febi pads, a pair, rear, $30 from Gallop. My front pads are still in good cond, >60%. As which workshop quoted me on option 1, I shall not publish here, after all they r running a business. I can PM u, if u wanna know.

Rear brakes have a total of 4 halves or 4 pieces. 2 halves/pieces per wheel. (Or some called per set per wheel) Some people called per set means for total for both wheel. I mentioned this cos one of the suppiler quoted me say $xxx per set and when i go to buy he say at $xxx per set by 2 sets for rear wheel/rotor.
