Great info here. 

Was also asked to change my battery and C&C quoted $600 .. altho the advisor said my battery registered as good on the system.  He said should change coz its 3 years old ... 

I realise its less than half that price outside.

So long ur new battery dun cause any other issue w the car. Cnc not so strict on that wear and tear item.

I nvr change my car battery at CnC though I continue to do my servicing there after my car warranty is over

Other things I don't change at CnC includes brake pads & rotors & off course tyres.

Correct ... he quoted me another $600 to replace the rear pads ...  very pricy i feel

The only issue to to find a reliable & competent workshop outside that will also use original parts ...
