A-class 180, options?

i got the CLA but should have gotten the A-Class instead so i can continue to join the talks with u guys here. not so active over at CLA forum :(

I was there at the CLA shooting brake launch (won the Facebook contest). Not available in CLA180 but seems like they solved the rear passenger headroom issue. Boot space is very big.

The shooting brake might be the true underdog. Reasonably stylish, huge boot. Still cheaper than C class.

i was there during the launch event as well, not too bad ... "intersting place to hold a car launch"

SA told me if place order that night got extra discount - $3k or $5K - cant remember

so important note for potential FUTURE A_Class Facelift Buyers, buy on launch nite / 1-2 days before hand to get "special discounts!"

My SE informed me that they've secured my COE today, but still no confirmation of car arriving in SG.

Also received the Sales Agreement.

There's a 'free' item listed as 'MB Support Cushion Boutique Voucher $199 Black', anyone has any idea if this is a set of neck support cushion for the front seats?

If really neck support cushions, $199 is goddamn overpriced!

Are they referring to the 'upgraded' sports rims for item 'R11 LA Wh 5-Twin Sp R17'?

If not, what is this then?

The cushions don't even fit me properly... Never saw a need for them

When did you book your car? Before this bid or previous bid? I booked mine before the previous bid. I got it on the previous bid

I booked it at the end of June, the weekend before the 1st July COE bidding, when C&C was having the promotion with the A180's 'effective price' at $136,888.

They didn't bid at the 1st July bidding, bid too low for the 2nd July bidding (but SE said still early, 'didn't bid'), and is successful for yesterday's bidding exercise.

Anyway, no smell of when the delivery of the car will be fixed, so getting the COE now only adds to the anxiety

That's the thing with new car have to wait so long 3-4mths for it. Makes those clearance or "mgmt" unit or almost brand new car so attractive to get.

The wait can play tricks with your mind as you spend the time searching the web and looking at A class. Then suddenly when yours arrive eh what happened?

Haha at least that's what I felt

I booked the car at the same time as you. Got my coe 2 weeks before yesterday. Hmmm... You must have gotten a very good bargain until Cnc bid too low for you

Congrats to your Coe.

Haha same as me we are the unlucky ones who got the lowest coe .. sucks! At least we got it. Now it look up trend to me.

Not as much as I would like to bargain for, as it was almost an 'impulsive' purchase decision by my wife, as I thought we were only 'window shopping' & I didn't do enough research.

Else I would've asked to use part of the $3k service credit for diamond grille and full leather seats.

You mean the 3k can use the offset leather seat. I ask my SA for leather when booking he told me it near impossible

I read on another thread that someone managed to use part of the $3k for other add-ons, but that's like earlier in the year, when SE are starting to clock up sales.

Guess I was caught by my wife's surprise decision & just passed my CC to the SE, was in 'stunt like vegetable' state, and didn't bargain much.

My SE said CC have tie up with a local company to do leather upholstery in SG. Cost about $800 to $1k.

this is for the whole car or just the front two seats?

do you have the name of the company?
