headlamp u can try Tye Soon or Chua Auto.... Tye Soon shld be cheaper with Hella products. If u thinking of doing HID conversion keep ur old headlamp rear cover cos u will need to cut thru the rear cover to run the HID wires to the ballast. EFX Euro EFFECTS HID kit is a gd choice...

going to install into my mercs probably next week....

need to put in a canceller though if not got check lights....

masterpiece rims is 15" upgrade to 17" is nice PCD is 5 X 120 for offset i m not too sure...

the meet up will be at kallang.. starts from 4.30pm @ $58 bux i think its from taiwan...

had fitted up with grounding and voltage stabliser.....

i find that my car go problem with cold start....

the engine like cannot start properly when cold....

is it anything to do with the cold start valve??

- wats ur normal operating temp shown on ur meter cluster? if its at 90 Deg C when warm up its fine

vibration first then engine cease

then have to restart and press on the accelerator slightly...

blow a bit and ok liao...

only when cold start....

other than that is ok....

oh.... and driving, got a rough sound too

think have to send to a workshop to get it check first...

btw... is it on timing chain or timing belt?

as for the temperature i didn't know what is the exact temp. but is below the half marking....

i hope to run a slightly cooler engine....

hopefully a oil cooler can help....

this M111 engine is on timing chain. rough sound maybe the engine damper is gone or tensioner. it might be timing chain guide oso. but most likely could be the engine damper cos the rubber busing is weak... need to mod the bushing and it will last u the life time of the car... as for vibration on cold start is it during the morning or at each start up? for the temp u mention is it in between the 80 Deg C mark and the next marking?

i think it happens a few times....

like i reached my destination....

after i parked for about 15mins...

i came back...

i started the car....

it vibrates and then it cease

i have to start again...

i guess this is not consider cold start right??

so far it happens 6 times from the many starts.....

as for the sound....

where would u recommend me to go for a check?

and can also send for servicing?

i dun mind changing some items to make the sound gone...

-omg... i m afraid that the vibration is due to a head gasket problem... need to do a pressure leak down test to confirm if the head gasket is leaking...

-timing chain has got life span oso haha
