Honestly, there isn't much different on my FC.  I tracked my FC through an iPhone app and just checked through all the records, the FC remain pretty much the same.  +/- 5% - some days better, some days worst.

With bigger rims, it makes you care more steady during corners and not forgetting better looking too.

Most importantly, if you want to change to bigger rims, do not buy those heavy and cheap ones.  Those will affect your FC badly.

Hi hi! I went for my tyre rotation last week at C&C and was told its time to change all 4 Tyres! It's like less than 4mm already ... So I asked if the guy doing the rotation if they will void the warranty if I change to 19" rims. He said he's not sure but that if I change to 19" rims C&C won't be able to do my tyre rotations. For those of you who changed to bigger rims, where are you guys doing your tyre rotations/etc??

Also, the tyre guy recommended Michelin Pilot Sport 3 225/45 R17 Tyres if I stick to 17" rims. C&C selling them for $330 per pcs (w/o gst). A friend of mine told me Stamford Tyres having sale for Continental csc3 Tyres at $200 per pcs. Anyone using either? Any feedback??

Typically C&C will not touch aftermarket rims. But you can just go to any tyre shops and they can rotate for you for around $10-$20 bucks

But if you are running on staggered setup no point rotating

CSC3 at $200 per piece is not cheap. Check sgcarmart and you can find many vendors selling CSC5, 225/45/17 at $170-$190 each.

Guys!

It is not just the weight!

As you go for lower profile tyres, you are getting broader tyres.

Broader tyres mean more contact on the road & lesser rolling (more contact = higher frictional force) thus consumption will goes up when all things are equal i.e your driving styles, the routes & traffic conditions covered remain constant!

bigger tyres also mean it takes more power to have the tyres rotate 1 full round? hence consumption sure up? is this logic correct? :D

Staggered no point rotating , for staggered rear tyres will wear off the inner portion faster than the outer portion.

Lower profile does not equate broader tyres at all !

225/45/17 vs 225/40/18 vs 225/35/19 have exactly same tyres width

My first original set of tyres last me 8 months because of no rotation. The uneveness causes loud rotational noises that I have to ditch it.

U sure no need left to right "rotation"?

IMHO

Once the car move off, the inertia of the broader tyres will be overcome by the turning momentum of the wheels. (I no big mechanical engineer but a layman nia)

However for eg. you leave your leg off the gas pedal and let your car roll, the broader tyres will roll to a shorter distance.due to the rolling resistance created by the higher frictional force from the bigger contact of the broader tyres on the road.

MB recommends tyre rotation at 5K km intervak

For staggered setup there"s nothing to rotate

Hey Bro! Thanks for the link! It was really informative! It looks like my driving requires the Michelin PS3. Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT may be too noisy for me. Still considering the Continental CSC3 cos of the price though. Hahaha ...
