Hi there,

Just would like to drop in to say Hello even though I registered with the forum several months back.

A little about myself. I am 36 this year and a full time unemployable bum. Most of the time when I am in town, you would probably see me in a polo t shirt and bermudas... I live in the East so you would often sipping teh 0 in the coffee shops in that area e.g Simpang Bedok, Bedok Central, Tampines, etc.

I belong to the four rings but snooping around for information on behalf of my father who may be getting a Mercedes E Class later this year.

Take care and safe motoring..

Trust me when I say I know what you mean when you say reality sets in.... Most said I was crazy blah blah blah I know that they meant well. I will never be as materially as well off or high on the corporate ladder as many others but I have my peace of mind and family time. My motto is contentment is key to happiness. Take away my four rings, take away my condo, take away my status and I will still be happy and not be envious of others who do better. More to life than the rat race. Oh and that does not mean that I am not motivated or aggressive when I do my thing to put food on the table! Yes I have a family to feed too.. haha

Oh and I like Mercs too... The upcoming face lift E Class looks very nice! Time to collect a brochure like a garang guni man.. Wonder if they would entertain me! haha

....leaving the corporate world is my dream.... Tired. I would drop anytime now if I could. Hand on heart. But reality sets in.

my dream as well, and to set up a mini SPA for relaxation......  too bad it's still a dream and I'm still trapped in the rat race, not by choice.

have a very close friend of mine (doctor) passed away at 43, have landed house, S class, happy family with 2 adorable kids, healthy lifestyle, but... heart attack, shock all of us.  all his material possessions, for what?

now i just treasure my time with family and good friends, u never know......

here i'm blah-ing away, while waiting to catch a flight home, can't wait to hug my little girl......

Frankly I doubt I will return to the rat race unless there is absolutely no choice. Been out for over 5 years and do not miss the office politics at all! Hearing my wife talk about her own experiences is enough to make me feel tired.. Haha

Isn't that the most important? Good that you can at least be home to be with your little girl!

Aren't we all slaves of our own pursuits?

Yes pursuits that we set and entrap ourselves with! Happy a good weekend all!

Ahh I can do 8AM as well and just drop me a line if you head over. I live around the corner. I will be there tomorrow at 9am regardless.
