I don't think there will be an immediate $30K less, 2nd hand dealers don't have the margin to slash by $30K. 

 

If you are buying a 2nd hand, don't ask got warranty or not... dealer might not last beyond the warranty.

Although Cat B and E COE plunge, it's still not enough to cover the increase in tax of many premium cars with higher OMV. Plus the drop in COE should also mean that those who bought their cars when COE was at it's peak is gonna lose out. Those with the most to gain are those aiming for low OMV cars.

This new tax would mean the end of adding options for my next Mercedes-Benz or Volvo. Adding options only bring OMV higher and incur higher tax. Sigh.....
