Replaced Aircon blower coil today

Sent my car to BH Auto for Aircon repair. They found the blower coil cracked. Took 2 days n finally got my my car an hr ago. Total cost S$980.00 including gst.

I went to Kranji brand. The setup is pretty strange, although Eric is the manger there but he doesn't seem to handle the operation there. You have to deal directly with the ws guy including pricing. The guys at the ws are very friendly and you need to get his mobile to deal directly with him. Invoice is very simple n direct just 1 lump sum. Anyway is still cheaper then Jack...... They quoted me $1,200.00 without even look at my car. Kind our piss off when they said for Merc is 1.2k. At least at BH they bother to check then explain the problem n cost to me. Not sure how much I could save if I get my own blower coil. They told me is $650 + labour around +1k. I asked for discount n he brought it down to $920. Dun bother to ask the 2 office mm they are there just to print invoice n collect $ only.

Nevertheless I think is good you can just deal directly with the workshop guy directly instead of a salesman.

They even return all the coins found all over the car floor.
