Where to service my W211 E200 NGT?

Hi Guys, I just got a 2008 E200 NGT. Do you know where else I can send my car for servicing besides CnC? Any special equipment required to service NGT mercs?

Since you just got it, would suggest you do your 1st basic servicing with CnC, ie : oil change, and get the "first opinion" from CnC, if any. You can always get "second or third opinion" from other workshops later.

Hi bro,

Most workshop can do normal servicing. But anything pertaining to NGT/ CNG you must go back to the original system installer. In this case cnc. As all Cng parts are proprietary. Lta also have a rule that the Cng supplier to the car can only be the one service it.

I use to drive a Cng car as well. My system leak. Suey my system supplier close shop. So no one can service my car for me. The only way lta can advise is to replace the whole system which cost me additional 6k. This is the reason for me to sell off my car last time.

Thanks a lot for advice. My car is at 57k mileage and next servicing is 65k. Do you think CnC allow me to do a simple oil change and ask them check? My concern is CnC wants me to do the major 60k servicing which will cost a bomb... Any cost-effective tips? My plan is to go Autospritz for the 60k major servicing..

I am starting to feel nervous of my decision in getting NGT. Didn't realize NGT is so scary.

Cnc will 100% charge u 60k full servicing.

If u got no intension to use the cng than its ok to service outside. anyway the car is bi-fuel so u can choose not to use gas.

Last time gas and patrol price differ a lot the saving is a lot now the saving is not that much.

Furthermore running on gas will wear the engine faster. Next time u go n pump gas try to talk to those taxi uncle u will understand what I mean.

I know a few taxi driver driving wish and not using gas.

Also, like bro Herbie says, don't use gas. Gas is dry and may cause cracks to the piston head. Most taxis that use gas have to be serviced (overhauled) every 50,000km or so else the piston heads will crack.
