RIMS Review?

Recommended Posts

Hey bros.

Any recommendation for rims?

Breytons, BBS, Vossen or Mandrus?

Anyone has any experience with them and which would be best fit-ment for Mercedes C180 Coupe?

Thinking going 19"

Too much poison in the forum...

Right now the ride with the stock 17" is pretty smooth and quiet.

Any big change i should expect with 19"?

Rims is a very personal choice, one man's meat is another man's poison. Get the designs you like best.

Fitment wise so long you get the correct PCD, offset and centrebore, it will be fine. Check with the rim shops they will be able to advise you on the range suitable for Mercedes.

19" is a big jump from 17" in terms of looks and comfort. Come to our night drive this Friday, or the gtg at month end to take a look at other people's rims. I'm sure you will get more poisoned than just reading off the threads here

IMHO it will be a much harder ride at 19" than your 17" and expect more tyre noise with broader tyres

Your owner manual has spec for up to 18" wheels only and 19" and above only for AMG

Cheers

Personally, 18" will be the best compromise between FC, looks and practicality. Just choose those designs that look bigger than they are. 19" rubbers wear much faster and much more expensive too. My 2 cents.......Happy hunting.

At least you can go 19" :) Mine only 18" max and certain tyres can fit in my wheel arch.

For you ride, I think 18s would be best for comfortability and practicality.
