tik tik tik sound when ignition off and engine powers down

There is a tik tik tik sound coming from my c180k when the ignition is turn off and the engine powers down. tik tik tik sound disappear after a short while...Is this normal???

Don't worry it's normal. Just a remote explosive device ticking away that will only ignite if you fail to pay your monthly installments. Mine has the same sound...

same for me. It's normal lah. cars still new, got lots of things still settling and bedding down. brakes will EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE when you first take off in the morling. the footbrake also like very tight.

The sound coming from your exhaust? Probably due to exhaust expanding and contracting. It's normal though.

It's heated sheet metal contracting, from exhaust manifold all the way to the exhaust tip.

That's what happened when you go near a shut down jet engine, the whole engine sounds like a lot of time bombs ticking away.

It's normal, don't worry. Every other cars also have some of sounds after engine shuts down.

I think it's for Kompressor engine, my previous E200k also hv, but now CGI I dun hear it anymore.

Mine worst. I also has the 'hand-trolley' over rough surface sound when at uneven road. And suay as I am, I cannot simulate that noise at CnC because cannot find any similar road condiition at Alexandra :-( Have to live with it till ......exhaust mod
