Use the search function and look for an older thread about PI cars from an insider's POV. Then you can make an informed choice if you should go PI or AD.

Owned 5 cars, 4 AD, 1 PI. My PI closed down 3 months after my car was delivered......

If you can get substantial cost savings and able to fork out considerable amounts of $$$ when car is no longer under warranty or if PI close down, can consider PI. If ur not a savvy person, I suggest AD for peace of mind. Sometimes the little cost savings are not worth the risks, especially for conti rides. If its a jap ride, no biggie....my 2 cents

Wow $50k is really a lot. If it warranty is with a reputable workshop, and comes with lots of options, maybe worth the risk.

I agree. Get a Brabus coupe. Agent don't sell it.

buy cheap sell cheap. pay more for C&C car, got better resale value. so it's actually entirely up to the way you look at it.

recently also got this huge workshop.. take on all the warranty case for a lot of PIs.. in the end also close down then all the cars no more warranty right?

for merc i think buy from AD better. my 2 cents.

but if you have your mind set on PI car, do look for our site sponsor, First Automobile. they're famous for their mercs. mention you are SGMerc member maybe got better price!!

I may get from PI my next car. It is not because of the savings but if you want to do some mod, no point buying from agent cos all will be voided. Anyway I find for Maserati, if I get from PI, I get keyless but agent comes with key. I don't want this "extra" function lor.

Same here. I bought from AD because my car comes with Keyless Go. PI doesn't have Keyless Go option.
