From insurance topic to who is working and who is not working. Haha

AVIVA is at least 40 to 50 % cheaper. But once your car leave C&C showroom and on public roads, you CANNOT change any thing on your ride.

The simplest thing like solar film, change of rims, exhaust tip , K&N filter change and spraying yours stock rims to other color are NO NO NO NO.

Cheap thing with many many restriction.

The reason why I m with AVIVA because they charge me 1800 bucks compared to Chartis which quote me 4500 bucks.

Essentially the money you save has to be put into a reserve fund in case you meet a small accident you can settle privately or repair at your own cost. Drive extremely cautiously and safe so that you will never activate the claim. Super safe money as you will never do any mods.

IMHO, if it is a brand new car, you should go for chartis at least for the first year. Chartis offers more comprehensive coverage compared to AVIVA. The additional bucks is insignificant for the amount of money you pay for your car.

From what I've heard from bro Arshavin on Aviva i would agree with this. Furthermore Chartis offers a new car replacement should yours be totaled during the 1st year. Not sure if Aviva has such a clause.

As long as your car is fully stocked and no changes to car after it traveling on roads, AVIVA can't touch u.

I got their underwriter contact number. So anyone who needs can pm me for that.

Yes. They will cover.

I give pm u the underwriter number n u call him n ask to double confirm.

Don't play play with insurance

So SE do everything for me before the showroom Aviva will cover?

Like the chrome exhaust tip. Solar Film?

All brothers here, i'm the agent for Chartis & Liberty for the past close to 20 yrs, have direct communications with both underwriters easily, if need to know more can PM me, as I tink I can't do open discussions over here right? But my suggestion is still stick to Chartis for the first yr, there r more benefits to it besides what u all hv discussed. During warranty period u can still choose to repair at C&C.

Unless it's ridiculous rate like $1,800 vs $4,500. Go for Chartis. I personally don't believe in cheap and good car insurance. There's a reason why Chartis charge a premium (easier to claim) and this is why we buy insurance in the first place right?

Barney, my next insurance renewal will be in nov.

But if I follow u n change car, it will be a new insurance policy.

I'm very tempted by the 1.6 C180 7G. Let's see how the next few Coe bidding goes first. No hurry...he he

What's ur NCD? $4,500 is a tad ridiculous.....

I 0% NCD as I had an accident 2 years ago and I stupid stupid let MSIG handle the claims as it was my 1st time accident.

One car cut into my lane on TPE. And the car in front of me brake and i also brake but too late so hit his backside

Got lawyer letter from him and MSIG offer to handle the case for me so I just stupid agree. And didn't even follow up on the claim process.

In the end when I sign for my C180K car, my SE call MSIG and check on the claim amount. Both of us got a shock a total of 26k

So stuck in catch 22 situation, accept the fate n be good boy boy n sign up AVIVA.

At least I can't change to AMG 18" rims, mod the command online to VIM, change to quad exhaust and mod the headlights. Save many many money

$26k will also include lawyer fee & probably plus medical fee. Dats why our car ins premium is getting higher & higher, ppl inflate d claims amount by getting lawyer & doctor involve.
