Replacing W212 Accelerator Padel

hi

i bot a set of aluminium pedals from inchcape uk for my w212.

the brake one is easy to fix. just remove the rubber and fit in the new one.

but the accelerator pedal looks a bit scary to replace.

anyone know if i can DIY wih screw driver alone or need special tool. or should i just leave it to thew pros?

anyone got "manual"?

Manual not required. Just need a adjustable small spanner and remove the 2 screws. So happy DIY

To me the brake is a pain man. The accelerator replacement is less than 10 mins job. Unbolt 2 screws on the side then uplugged the connector, u r done. Hope we are talking about original AMG pedal sets as attached picture & not those aftermarket type that need to bolts on.

I removed the 2 bolts but not sure how to detach the wire. Dare not use force in case I break it.

Should I just yank it or is there a catch that I should press to do it safely?

Any advice would be welcome.

Yes there is a catch but unplugged it slowly.

I bought mine from C&C ard $200++, then I pass the set to C&C guys when doing my servicing and got it done free. Usually it's $60, if you are still unsure, you may want to try my foolproof method.
