Complete car wash, including undercarriage?

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

I was so so suay last evening when my W204 drove over a huge patch of wet paint on the road near Tampines stadium. Most probably caused by an industrial lorry which spilled the paint all over the road. Many other vehicles were affected too.

Really puddles of white paint that splashed all over mycar body, and I suspect the undercarriage too. I immediately drove to the nearest Shell car wash to remedy the situation, and while most of the paint were washed off, there are now 'dusty' paint streaks all over the car, especially on the tires and under the side skirts. But I suppose the Nano Sealant helped a bit.

Heart pain.

Is there anywhere I can go to for a detailed car wash, including the undercarriage? Would C&C do this kind of work?

Write to LTA & complains & ask for compensation & cleaning of the under carriage too. Best attached with pictures to support yr claims.

U need a workshop with lifter to clean it coz normal jack cant help much.

Alamak I also kenna the same thing last Saturday. Drove in to a HDB MSCP last Saturday. There was a puddle of white paint on the floor. I didn't realize it and drove thru it! My car was then splattered with white paint. I immediately drove to the nearest car wash. Lucky for me, they took their time to thoroughly wash off the paint on the car and fortunately, the paint was water-based and can be quite easily removed before it dried up. Now only left some paint marks on the tyre threads.

Called town council To complain and investigate but no one responded. So, don't keep your hopes up. Very hard to get the authorities to be accountable For this.

Wait long long for our government to refund us on the washing n damages caused. Be it town council or LTA , the standard reply is always will investigate and get back to us on the answer. In the end wait n wait, when become inpatience, call the officer , either get case still investigate or no conclusives evidence. In the end has to visit your MP and hope he understand your situation n that u r not a complaint king or trouble maker and help u write a letter to town council or LTA. Surprisingly, u will be an acknownledge call or letter within a week and an answer with one month.

My own experiences
