Why we can't take delivery of our brand new Mercs like our friends in USA???

This is the Euro Delivery, available for left hand drive customers only. If I remember correctly, its usually for the U.S.A customers. After touring the area driving their brand new car, they will send back to the pick up point and drop off their vehicle there. The vehicles will be cleaned and sent onto the boat to their country and they can retake delivery again at their local dealership. Pretty cool.

I did enquire about Euro Delivery at another European marque dealership in Singapore, they have no such arrangement for us as ours is right hand drive......

Dun know! Maybe I m lucky!

May 2010 - collected my E250 & Jul 2011 - collected my ML300

Both rides were delivered to me on the ground floor delivery bay.

For the E250, it was collected on a Sunday, there's no Aunty to clean the car & SE has to take out his jacket/tie, clean up the ride to prepare delivery for me in the delivery bay.

Delivery of the ML300 - Ground floor delivery - same for the E250 where we also took family photos

Actually my SE called me Thursday evening and informed me that my car will be ready the the next day. He also said that if I were not free he could deliver it to me on Saturday which was New Year's eve. Of course I made myself free and went to CnC Friday lah - who wants to wait another day longer!

Oh, so our rim can't fit into a Hyundai Tuscani becos their PCD is 114.3

Cannot lah, VW or Audi is a better bet.

Maybe it's peasants like us who buy c-class that kena L3 treatment. Wonder if those who bought the E,S or ML mercs oso had the L3 'privilege'?

All same same lah... Took delivery of my S on L3 ....
