hello, i am new to this forum. just hoping to know about the history of this car which I am quite interested. e.g. need to know whether if this car was involved in any accident before, been involved in flooded, odo tampered etc/ appreciate your PM or feedback. Thanks!

I tried calling c & c when I bought my used car, but they will not entertain. Apparently, it's their policy. Not like other ADs. Best is to go to a reliable workshop. Experienced mechanics can tell with one look.

Heard a recent story, a merc of 5 years had a mileage of 7xk km. When he sent in for servicing at c & c, turned out the actual mileage was close to 2xxk km.

There's a reason why republic auto and ppsl charge more fir their used car. Peace of mind. My 2 cents.

Welcome!! Do double & triple check on the parts that they advertised. Usually 99% are not accurate. Hope the ex owner is here & reading this thread. Good luck

OMV looks decent, doesn't seem like a PI unit.

Have a deal with the seller, spend a few hundred bucks to sendthe car to C&C for servicing to get the necessary details. If car is in order, u buy and absorb the cost, if somthing wrong, dealer pay and no deal.

That's good advice bro. Though C & C doesn't reveal accident details (no diff cos it may be repaired outside), When you send in for a servicing, the true mileage of the vehicle will be revealed. I negotiated for a free basic servicing at C & C too as part of the deal.

I agree. Better to pay a bit more for peace of mind then to spend loads of money on repairs and part replacements when you find problems later.

Can call C&C to check, but they will only reveal last mileage and last servicing date.

Better send for STA inspection too.

long long ago. c&c entertained new owners of used car. you could bring in your just purchased car and they will give a free checkup.

i have no idea if it is still true today.

reason being that they want you to come in to their showroom, get your details, give checkup and hope that you will fix the flaws with them.
