As per my title, I'm willing to top up cash for the exchange of 1 FL W204 rims as my wife has scratch both of my rims and I will need one more since I have used the spare tyre rims already.

Please indicate to me your topup value.

Pls note that your spare tyre have a full sized original rims which you can exchange with me! Especially for those bro whom have upgrade your rims, it does not matter if your spare tyre are scratch right? Since it is a spare!

Mine is the 2012 FL W 204 with the existing 17 inch rims. I know it can be repaired but I thought buying new will be easier. Just wanted to save the hassle since some of the bro might have removed the space tyre to reduce the weight like me!

...why would anyone remove their spare tyre? Isn't the whole point of the spare tire to be in your boot when one of your tires puncture?

I would, space for barang barang & reduce some weight (not much) which translate to fuel saving & for some, the whole ICE system is occupying the space. Sillypore is too small about getting a rim or tyre replacement.

Bro, do you know that the wheels can be repaired & restored to new?

I used to go to Leong Seng at Ubi for rims repair. They will loan you a set of rims first during the repair. Quite good results, look as good as new.

Sorry, I a bit suaku, does the FL W204 comes with an original spare rim and tyre that is the same as the car? Usually, only give a metal rim that is damn heavy.

If I am not wrong, they will give you the same rim and tyre.

  • 3 weeks later...

Leaving the spare tire in boot helps to act as a safety barrer in case kena hit from behind...(touch wood)

A friend of mine, his Insurance didnt pay up as they claim he remove the spare tire....

Another warranty void by see n see??? Hahaha

Orh!! Something new, how come without spare will voild insurance warranty? Whats the rationale behind this?
