guys, just comparing the e200cgi vs e250cgi....

any pros and cons...?

the only thing i can think off is that although e200cgi lesser horses at 184 vs e250cgi horses at 204,

the torque of e200cgi kicks in at 1800 rpm vs e250 at 2000 rpm... so maybe for singapore roads, e200 kinda more responsive...?

Both cars weigh the same!

PI E200 & E250 Avantgarde listed price diff. Is only $5k

20 more horses mean higher max speed

40 Nm more Torque mean faster off from the stand still & to be exact nearly

1s faster.

7G tronics should not cost more unlike the C which the extra $$$ is more for the FL overall.

So imhccbo the answer is quite obvious paying a few $k more is quite insignificant paying a ride that cost $200k.

Why not wait when U dun have to pay more for it when MB finally decided to replace the "ancient 5 spd" tranny after so much criticisms past & present!:becky:

so means... e200cgi will always be the latest!

so if want buy e250cgi... then probably wait e250 7g...

F10 is good but i think the look will nver be as long lasting as w212...

mm,,

now what colour man for w212,,,,,/?

i really wonder if i choose calcite white will regret bo,,,,,'cause my current ride is diamond white...

afraid calcite white turn yellowish fast,,,,

if not get black... fainted!

No la, me change ride from cab to saloon cheaper take some money back ma... Plus gain space ....

Provided I change to e200 only lo... Can't buy e250 saloon lo... Hahah

really? still can take back cash even after you went from C to E cabriolet and now going to E saloon? all in less than a year? still got cash to take back? please tell us how you do it because i would like to follow suit, mate... :shocked:

No la.... C to e cab sure must top up ma... But c sell same as purchase price.

But e cab to e saloon maybe take back 10k plus only.

But now eCab price more than $30k to E250 avantgarde

Why not swop cars with a fellow forum bro who wants to exchange his sedan for a cabrio? With all the paperwork done of course. That's what I intend to do when my kids grow up. :)

Saw at Vincar one 7G tronic e250 CGI, but the gear is on the steering wheel and the back doesnt print 7G tronic, but still print CGI.... weird...

Even the current E300 & E350 all has the gear shift lever on the steering.

To put in Park or shift is a breeze - just push the lever in or tap up/down.

Probably comes with paddle shifts too for the 7G-Tronics.

Meanwhile the center console is free from the gear shift and U have more storage space.

Yup yup but kinda prefer having the gear knob rather than lever....

But lever safer as kids kinda hard to reach!

Seriously, I've no idea how the 7 speed drives like as compared to my 5 speed box. Maybe its time for a test drive.

But if it's driving feel, don't think it's worth to change just because of the gearbox. Better off getting Audi in terms of performance and drive.

just curious, how come Audi is better in performance & drive? U are comparing cabrio vs cabrio?

Just a personal opinion. Went to test drive Audi before I bought my ride.:) My entry level beemer also handles slightly better and stiffer ride. But no regrets getting the Benz. blackmercs wrote:

My opinion is :

1. merc branding still number 1.

2. Audi is same price but faster bhp and torque.

3. If only Merc uses DSG 6 speed best!

Only I think those sls 7g got speedshift...
