if is family trip or small group I agree we don't have to spent a night in malacca, but then if is a big group my experienced tell me we definitely end up waiting for each other and will be very rush and stress.

I would rather pay for a night at malacca or 2 at genting and really rest & relax.

Fully agree.

The mini club did a Malacca round trip recently. They split into groups of 5 with a leader in each group. In this way, only 4 cars need to catch up with 1 leader and all groups planned to meet at designated location along the way.

Anyway, a holiday is suppose to be easy going so that we can stop for coffee to smell the flowers, so a one night stop is a good way to relak.
