The W124 will be handed over to the new owner next week. Am currently on a t-loan W203. Your new car looks like it's got FL front and rear bumpers so that's one less thing to do! It's got below average mileage, spare steering wheel in the passengers footwell.

Swap out the front grill with the S600 multi chrome slat type.

Great. hope this voodo stuff works on my steering wheel. quite faded. Leon, the pic had the spare wheel in the front but i guess the dealer took it away. currecnt one is ok. its been restitched. still tight but faded in places so hope this voodoo works. actually i want to raise up the car. apparently the front 2 shocks have collapsed. got a list of things to buy according to my mech:

front left suspension mount

front ball joints

vacuum control valve

4 shocks

n a few others which i cant remember now. sight. spent $10k in 2 years doing up that last car. hope i dont need to spend so much on this. dont think i would need to cos this looks pretty good.

If i can get it to look like leons car, that would be great

did not get a chance to check under the rear. only the front carpets. was dry. just a few things to sort out like ball joins n trans mountings. then will be good as new i believe. And hope.

Ball joints very cheap.

Hee hee....

Transmission mounting I think is 70$ or so a piece. Get the real ones cos the cheap 40$ plus ones are re con, they repump hydraulic oil into recon ones n they dun last.
