Battery warning lighted and asked to see User Manual

Hi bro’s 

found out the Battery Warning lighted up and asked me to start engine when I start the car this morning. check user manual. I followed and it doesnt pop out any more. I am concern could there be issue with the battery. Any brother have this issue before for W205? Appreciate of you can share your experience.

There is no auxiliary battery for W205. It's actually a DC converter unit which need replacement around the 3rd years. It's located below the front left compartment. You cannot DIY because need resetting with thd diagnostic PC after changing.

I had this issue on and off and problem stopped when I disconnected some accessories and switched off some functions (Bluetooth).   It always happens when I forget to forgot to disconnect my iPod.  

Also started externally charging battery once a while, the problem completely disappeared.

maybe the stock battery not strong enough?

I have this issue after 12 months.... I went back to C&C twice. They finally replace the Voltage Converter Module, located under the passenger leg room mat(under warranty). 

First models were shipped with a voltage converter with part no. A2054400073. Such a model has been replaced by a new part no. A2059052809.

 

I believe it is a design fault.
