Hi! Are the PU bumpers as strong as the original? A Honda Odyssey bumped into my front bumper about two weeks ago while reversing and nothing happened to mine but serious scratches to his rear bumper. Saw alot of used bumpers at backyard of Propel. Changed my front grille because there was a slight dent caused by the great Odyssey. :punk1:

Anyway, posted pic of new grille at Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/won2009

yup oriinal type is the pu type... it is so much stronger. it seldom break as the rubber content is high. whereas the aftermarket type r fiber which will crack when in contact

the original bumpers are very cheap...

my wife's uncle also drives a w124...

his is a 200e 8v type...

his wife bump the rear bumper so he decided to change...

but cannot find a 200e one...

so i got him a e200 bumper and a top layer piece....

if i didnt forget...

it is quite cheap....

he paid less than 500$ including labour and spray painting....

:D :D :D

mercs parts are not expensive....
