Dear all,

Need advice whether the below quoted price is reasonable as i found a weird on the price to replace the brake disc, pads and sensor as price gap is too much. How come dif. supplier quoted the brake pad is 1 or 2 pcs ?

Supplier A

Front brake disc (x 2) @ $40 x 2 = S$80

         brake pads (x 1)     $50 = S$50

         wear sensor (x 1)   $5 = S$5

Rear brake disc (x 2) @ $35 x 2 = S$70

         brake pads (x 1)    $40 = S$40

         wear sensor (not required)

Total price for the above :- S$245

Supplier B

Frt pad – S$120 x 2 = S$240
Frt rotor – s$115 per pcs x 2 = S$230
Sensor – S$16 per pcs x 2 = S$32
Rr pad – S$95 x 2 = S$190
Rr rotor – $85 per pcs x 2 = S$170
Total price for the above :- S$862

Supplier C
 Brake pad frt $110

 Brake disc  frt $110  x2

 Brake sensor frt $8

 Brake pad rear $85

 Brake disc rear  $85 x2

Total price for the above :- S$593

Please advise which supplier is more appropriate for me to replace the wear off brake pad/rotor/disc.

Thanks

Supplier A's brake pads so cheap? $40?

Supplier B's brake pads so expensive? 1 piece $100+ ? Made of what?

Supplier C's pricing is more logical..

by the way, C-Class only got 1 brake sensor..

Bro mind sharing info? I also going to change pads and rotor and sensor...

Can PM me?

Btw W212 got 2 sensors right? instead of one?

This is my quote:

Brake Pad Front & Rear = $140 x 2

Brake Disc Front = $245 x 2

Brake Sensor = $15 x 2

Labour for the above job = $135

All price subject for 7% Gst.

I got my B.pad parts and rotor from goldenlink and prices are reasonable.

Sensor is a must and would recommend ceramic b.pad.

I have changed to ceramic brake pad, it is giving 'squeeking' sound and workshop told me is due to ceramic brake pad, have yours giving this problem?

my w024 on ATE ceramic brake pad sometimes once in a while do squeak during slow braking.. but not very often though.. think some owners on ATE ceramic pads do hear this, but some don't .. need more inputs
