Air con recirculation button

Dear bros, i am driving a pre-fl w204. I am just asking if we have to keep pressing the re-circulation air con to prevent the air outside coming in after some time? Or is there a problem with my car button?

Nothing wrong with your the button.....this is a feature of Merc...and other Conti cars....so that you will have fresh air.....

I check that button every time i check my rear view mirror so i won't have to breathe exhaust... now used to it already...

I think the best combo....ultimately would be.....Jam in a Tunnel, behind a rubbish truck that just came out of HDB.....and circulation button not working

Let me give u d genuine advise. Once u use auto and set all d to d require conditon u want , do not meddle anymore cos any change will set off d internal circulation button. Hope its help.

actually i tot our aircon filter is good coz i would not really notice that the recirculate is off... say, compared to my previous jap 1.5L car which i can smell the exhaust immediately if recir is turned off

Switch OFF the auto start stop button, if not u gotta close the account vent many times. It's quite irritating. If u switch it off, ya, it's approximately 30 mins that u need to press the account vent button again.

I read that the filter in merc is better than air purifier

in terms of smell, if you circulate external air, sure can smell

  Mine also w204 pre-fl but no need to keep pressing every 30 mins. At the beginning of my journey , i press it once and it will last the whole trip until I off the engine. Maybe mine spoil liao ?
