w124 throttle cable is being tuck behind the firewall and its bended. so if u flip it outside, out of the firewall towards the front of the engine, the cable will be free from bend hence resulting a softer pedal feel.

reponse wise is not really affected unless u tightened up the throttle cable abit... the end result is a softer pedal feel not so stiff

need to change the front 2 seats and the rear as well to have a matching look and all 4 door panels as well and as u know all the post 94 W124 seats are mostly not in gd condition u will have tp rewrap those leather. all in all i rather u buy the whole masterpiece and just knock engine number. more worth it. but dun get caught
