First Merc I've ever owned, hopefully not the last

Took delivery of my CLA45 last week and it's been a blast driving. Been lurking around these forums for the past few weeks in anticipation of my Merc. Here's a picture of her after the PPS application done at Detail Mania, one of the site sponsors here.

It is from C&C but mine has the night style package. It had all the trimmings I wanted but all the incoming shipmenta only had night style package, so had to fork out extra for it or wait a few more months. I couldn't wait that long.

Yea, it is a shame. However, I think it balances nicely with the matte chrome finish for the front grille and emblem. I have poisoned with the idea by Lyonel to get the front grille done in matte black, and maybe along with the exhaust. Too soon to tell, haven't felt the urge to "z(h)eng" my car yet. Still in the honeymoon period.

My opinion is the Matt chrome looks better than the night styling for Mountain Grey and the reverse is true for white. How about a Brabus piggyback to bring the hp up to 400 and 0-100 in 4.2

Hi all, collected my CLA45 in Jan'14, mine is the last 2 unit of non-night package unit from C&C. I have switched my matte black rims with the silver rims to match the silver skirting. I think it looks more executive than sporty.

Just ordered the AMG door pins to replace the black plastic ones.

 

Also ordered the edition 1 tyre centre caps, looking to slowly add some red accents along the car.
