parking Guidance

I always notice a "P" on my dashboard when I travel below 15km/h. I remember in the manual it said that that is for parking guidance. Last month, I parked my car at the petrol kiosk and was reversing out and my dashboard is showing me the direction to turn my steering wheel. That was the 1st and only time.

Any one has any experience with that ?

Hahaha. I tot I m the only 1. I know always got p but then donno what is it.

But recently I just realise how to use it after 1 and 6mth.

Its only for parallel parking. But I no trust on that ba.

To me, this parallel parking guidance is as good as don't have. Anyone out there find it very useful and has been using it?

Once you see the P, engage reverse gear and press OK. The on-screen instructions will follow.

Once a P appeared with right and left arrow then engage reverse then press OK. Try it once not too bad though.

I tried b4, realized i parked myself better than following the guide.

The newer models like CLA got automatic parking for both reverse and parallel

 

When the car detects a parking slot, the P sign will come on

 

Just put the car in reverse and engage the system and the car will steer itself into the slot hahah

 

Can try it a few times to impress your friends but seriously, it's faster and "safer" to park it ourselves

this type make more sense to hv, but not the normal parking guidance.

I think if comes standard with all new A and CLA. I have it on my A but used once just for fun. Have more confident doing it myself.

Honestly id rather they take this feature away and instead give the keyless feature.
