Hi all...

 

 

 am AH Wil here...am looking to buy a 2006 E200... think in SGcarmart is called the E200ML... May i know of any problems that is linked to this model?  and if there is, any good recommended place that i can go to?

The E200ML is the pre FL W211!   imho if budget can be stretched a little more you can look for a FL W211 E200K Elegance or Avantgarde which is available for later part of 2006 It has higher Hp IIR

The E200ML is the pre FL W211!

 

imho if budget can be stretched a little more you can look for a FL W211 E200K Elegance or Avantgarde which is available for later part of 2006

It has higher Hp IIRC 184hp vs the 164Hp E200ML, better trims, headlamps, tail lamps,bumpers, etc

yeah..thanks for the welcome... am still waiting for the car to go STA today.... so i guess will be this weekend to take over the car.... am already so much poison by this forum already....hahaahah

This place is a snake pit - poisoned easily without antidotes. :)

need some advise from the bros here...

 

 1. knocking sound when over hump

2. shock absorbers: service condition

3. coolant hose sign of coolant stain

4. vechicle brake disc rotor worn

5. Brake Rotors (F)

3. coolant hose sign of coolant stain

Knocking sound over bump hard to tell you what's wrong or normal.

Dun feel comfortable, look for another one - lots in the resale market.

 

Brake rotors/pads, shock absorber and changing leaking coolant hoses (hopefully not radiator/water pump, etc) cost $$$.

Is the dealer willing to rectify all the faults.

hi bro..actually when i test drive..i am very happy with the car.... nothing seem wrong from my side... as its not by dealer, the owner is now considering to do or not...

just driven the car for a week... these are some of my findings.

 

  1. the drive was good...

 2. the car when going over hump, has got a "errk" sound from the front left..  now is in the previous owner W/S.. in sin ming...morning put there till now.. still cannot tell me how much the cost is... frankly speaking...this W/S, i dun think i will ever go back to them again... if not for the previous owner persistent, i will not be there. and whats-more, heard from my friend that is quite famous for MB cars....

 

sickening feeling that whole day no car...den still cannot tell me whats the cost...
